TED Talks Discussion Nights

Join your fellow students and faculty in a night of stimulating discussion of interesting and relevant topics. Our first discussion night on November 18th was a great success. Stay tuned for further dates for upcoming nights.

Study Session December 6th and 8th

The ESA is hosting two study sessions for Econ 190 and 195 students. Faculty, free food and beverages and upper level econ students will be present to help students study effectively and efficiently. The sessions will be located in the CAC boardroom in the Independent Center. Come by for as long or as brief as you like!

October 21st, 2010: Pajama Party @ CJs

We had a successful first go at CJs this year!  Thanks to all club members who volunteered their time and to everyone who came out and donned their PJs!  Also a special thanks to SIFE for helping us with the advertising and for making such an event possible!

Fraser Institute Conference

Lisa Scruton, Steven Holm and Jeff Hicks of the Economic Student Association attended the Fraser Institute Exploring Public Policy conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. The student focused conference provided prominent speakers from various disciplines including, a co-founder of Greenpeace, and provided the students with great networking opportunities. This conference is held annually and offers a travel bursary for students located outside of mainland BC.
